On the sunny side of Tynningö near Stockholm, we restored this summer villa from the early 1900s. Included in the assignment were a new garage, restoration and extension of complementary buildings, as well as planning of gardens and terraces.
We worked on bringing out the original jugend-inspired character of the house. Original wallpapers and color schemes were recovered and produced according to old patterns. The basement was dug out and remodeled into communal areas and a spa, and anachronistic windows were switched to ones more typical of the early 1900s.
