The magnificent view, the light, and the relationship to the surrounding landscape were crucial to the design of this house, situated on a mountain slope. The house is built of natural materials and the frame is timbered log by log in massive pine wood. The untreated facade will turn gray with time. Indentations in the facade provide liveliness and protection from the weather.
